Amenities
Little luxuries, big quiet
Everything here is optional and nothing is rushed — a spa hour, a sundowner, a morning on the pool deck. The lodge simply makes them easy.
Most guests come for the safaris and stay for the afternoons in between. These are the small rituals that fill those hours: warm stone, cold water, good coffee, and enough room to do nothing at all.
Wellness & spa
Slow medicine, warm stone
The spa sits in a stone room off the garden, smelling of candlelight and eucalyptus. Massages and treatments are slow and thorough — oil pressed by hand, long firm strokes, and silence that nobody rushes to fill.
Book a couples' session as the light goes amber, follow it with the steam room, and arrive back at your room to find herbal tea waiting, steeped from the garden.

Sessions from $60 — sixty to ninety minutes, booked at the front desk or with your reservation.
Dining & bar
The terrace, the bar, the hour between
Dinner moves from the kitchen to the terrace as the light drops, and the bar gathers its regulars for the sundowner hour. East African cooking with a fine-dining hand — garden herbs cut at service, fire where fire belongs.
Our cellar leans East African: wines from the highlands, a few patient South African reds, craft gin and single-origin coffee roasted in Arusha.

Grounds & recreation
Fourteen acres of nowhere to be
The infinity pool meets the highland sky and, on good days, the clouds. Hammocks hang where the shade falls best, the lawns hold a running game of boules, and walking paths wander through herb gardens and quiet corners of the grounds.
For those who like their quiet in motion, mountain bikes are ready for the highland roads — cool air, long views, and the lodge visible all the way home.

Safari & excursions
The plains are an hour away
The safari desk treats every itinerary as a small work of art. Tarangire is ninety minutes down the escarpment, Ngorongoro a long day worth taking slowly, and Arusha National Park sits at the foot of the hill with its lakes and giraffe-filled glades.
Go further if you like: dawn ballooning over the plains, cultural visits to the villages below the ridge, or a guided highland walk that ends with tea in a stranger's garden.
- Tarangire & Ngorongoro safaris
- Arusha National Park excursions
- Cultural village visits
- Hot-air ballooning at dawn
- Guided highland walks
Business & events
Work, weddings, and long tables
There is an open-air event space under thatch that earns its candlelight — long-table dinners, weddings on the lawn, anniversaries, and off-sites that quietly outperform the boardroom.
We look after the structure: AV basics, dependable fibre, and an in-house kitchen that can feed twenty or a hundred and forty without losing the thread of the menu.
